In addition to serving government entities, I have also served on statewide boards and as a member of numerous national and state associations in the industry. I enjoy learning and sharing my knowledge and often present on meaningful, timely topics, including strategies for mitigating municipal employee fraud, navigating IT system implementation challenges, and establishing responsible cannabis regulations.
Throughout my career, I am proud to have served in a variety of positions, including the assistant city manager for Concord, California; the assistant city administrator for Oakland, California; the director of finance for San José and Milpitas, California; the controller treasurer for Santa Clara County; and the assistant finance director for the City of Santa Clara, California.
